- based on research I did while completing my M.A., this is my reconstruction and interpretation of the church in Plaisance (Placentia, Newfoundland) around the end of the 17th century
- Hand-painted fabrics, withsome commercial fabrics used as well. Machine-quilted and appliquéd.

fabric pastel sketch, overpainted with fabric paints. Edges are constructed from hand-painted fabrics and embellished with polyester specialty fabrics. Primarily hand-appliquéd and machine-quilted.

Many thanks for your ideas. Just beginning to experiment on landscape quilts, something I have wanted to do for years. Do you have any ideas with buying the landscape fabric or favourite shops that have these. Not many australian shops carry landscape fabrics. At present I am working on my first – a view of the lavender fields of Tasmania, Australia
