  1. The next time someone asks you to volunteer for a project, look them squarely in the eye, smile and say “I’m flattered that you’ve asked but, I’m sorry, no I’m not available.” Take care of you because you’re the only one you can count on to do it. Cheers.

    • Good idea. Figuring out how to phrase it is always tricky, particularly when you are, by nature, the sort of person to want to help anyway.

  2. STOP!!! thank you now say NOOOO!, now practice this every morning until it is easy, then follow this prescription when the next phone call comes, this advice comes from personal experience, MJ
