  1. First soywool, now seasilk… They really can make fibers out of anything! It is a good thing that I am not a knitter – I would have a horrid mish mashed yarn stash too!

  2. (Laughing) What makes mine weirder is that I both knit ordinary things like socks and sweaters AND do odd things like couching with various spun fibres. In fact, I actually have two kinds of yarn – work yarn (for fibre artwork) and hobby yarn (for knitting things like socks). Oddly enough, they rarely overlap in purpose. Funny how that works.

  3. I have been drooling over Sea Silk for some time… mmmm…. I do not have a lot of call for dressy scarves or wraps, though, so I have held off, and I am not sure what else one would make with it. (Nevertheless, I may be going back for some, one day.)

Have you heard of Great Big Sea Silk? It’s Handmaiden, too, but in a larger gauge and with wool.

    Imagine the drape!

  4. They had some there, actually, and it was wodnerful stuff. It’s just about sock weight, but I can’t justify spening that much on exotic wool to put on my feet!
